I mean i get that she's probably the way she is due to childhood trauma but that doesn't excuse all the emotional and tbh if i remember correctly occasional physical abuse of Paula - trauma is not a get out of jail/punishment card. She has to feel the weight of her actions.
She doesn't have to die or anything drastic like that but she def needs some kind of punishment that is she needs to feel the consequences of her actions.
