I completely understand but let's face it, erna has never gotten the ability to prioritize herself over anything. Bjorn has made so much impact in her life that she can't even have the thought of fully leaving him. She has yet to gain guts or will to make herself happy. In her mind, being happy is being with bjorn. Tbh I don't really like this "redemption" but if it ends this way then so be it
after bjorn's underwhelming redemption arc, i completely lost any interest in reading this. erna should leave him. any woman with self-respect should leave a toxic guy like that. but it's hard to expect her to understand that when even her own grandmother expects her to forgive bjorn for everything.
