hi!! this is just my understanding of it;
When Dohun meets Yuwon, Yuwon saves him from the people who were bullying him which in turn meant that from then on Yuwon was going to be bullied even harder than compared to before. This is why Yuwon breaks down immediately and started to tell Dohun that he regrets saving him and that if he hadn’t he would have been “less unhappy”. By shifting the blame away from the people who were the ones actually harassing and bullying Dohun/Yuwon, it seemed to comfort Yuwon therefore making him less unhappy, which we know is Dohun’s goal(even though he has a really fucked up way of getting there)
It seems like Yuwon is a character full of a lot of self hatred and loathing; which is shown in his adult life by him justifying his boss being abusive towards him as his fault for not “being better”. I believe that dohun see’s this, sees how miserable it makes Yuwon, and then forcibly tries to create a situation where Yuwon can push the blame away from himself and onto Dohun instead. In that way dohun feels needed, like a scapegoat.(which he was literally born and raised to be)
Anyways that’s just my understanding of it i hope this made sense ヽ( ̄д ̄;)ノ=3=3=3

Okay I went through my first read through, imma need to re read to fully get this. But, can someone explain to me why Dohun associates being blamed to being needed? I don’t understand how his mind made that connection and why he believes that he needs to be blamed by Yuwon to love him.
