At this point ive made so many damn comments on this site regarding art its no surprise that i will comment on this art too. So , this artist genuinely draws distressed, frustrated and angry , terrifying faces so well its insane. (In my opinion) When wookyung is angry or when he attacks people . He is horrifying. Genuinely his expression are so visceral i tense up the moment i see them. Ive seen my fair share of f*cked up bls , but something about this artists visuals in wookyungs crashouts (crimes) is...wow. like the way his eyes die , his face just scrunchies up so well. Damn , i need to get this good at facial expressions.
On another note , Storyline is good , i enjoyed it , made me angry and upset and just wishing minho would escape. ( i havent read sadistic beauty and dont plan to.) the psychology of it is great. Idk if the author has that in mind or if they just go willy nilly. But the way minho acts is exactly how alot of victims act too. He is desperate for an escape but when he finds it? He doesnt run. He stays. He thinks. He know he should hate wookyung and he does , But his mind is too fractured. He was genuinely broken in. He reminds me of that metaphor of wrapping a rope around a baby elephant leg , it wont be able to escape. When it grows and is able to. It doesnt. Because it still believes the rope will stop it. Thats exactly what happened to minho. He was locked away for so long , with no one to care for him , or love him that his mind decided to accept wookyung. That he truly is in this with him. I feel so bad for him , and the scene of him leaving? People passing by? I thought he was walking. But no , again , the artist is so good at drawing scenes and this one was amazing. Shoutout of the wookyungs expression when he got to the bar and saw minho get SA'd , terrifying mf. Or the other face , early on when minho told him how he cants wait to escape. Straight horror my guy. he became one of those "would you like a break from the ads".
