The same talking point as all Jo stans and as if being slimed by the author that their takes are all shit ain't enough. They wanna act all intelligent and neutral. TJ loved Ian and Ian loved TJ I don't know how you thought that wasn't the only way this series would end. And just in case Jo was never going to be Ian's option. He was a bump on the road to Ian's actual destination. The most he did for Ian was fuck him and even with that Ian still yearned for tj's dick. Ian knew the moment he and TJ had sex in the toilet it was done for him and Jo. He literally says it and back then people just thought it was heat of the moment.

its rlly not a shit take lol, tj had no development regardless of if he was endgame or not and thats js the truth. like i said i think hes a good character alone but its stupid introducing jo just to throw him out so ian could crawl back to the very beginning all over again? even if jo was never gonna be the option then why would the author bring him into the story and fuck abt w his character if he clearly served no purpose for ian and tj at the end, if u ask me thats js poor writing. i would not gaf if we saw proper development but tj lacked every bit of that and it js made the whole story and jo's involvement completely pointless.
