it would have been better if the author had a better editor. No good editor would let such a messy plot see the light of day. the premise was good, but there are some things that are totally unnecessary for the story, such as the isekai part of the plot and the smut. don't get me wrong, the smut was good-ish, but it was out of nowhere. i felt like it was a desperate attempt to draw in more readers because that's what's popular (same with isekai).
