You could tell who the author was going to pick as king as you read. They clearly had a favorite so it was no secret. I wish they had expanded the ending some more but this was a great read over all. It was easy, fun and the art is beautiful. I loved the characters and the familial love between the brothers. Bea (and possibly Claude) is such a lovely addition to the family. Speaking of family, I thought the mom passed away but then she appeared out of thin air at the last minute lol.
