What I like about Malocen is that even though he was treated like crap in the royal family and left to hang out with the servants he doesn't make it sound like his past was super tragic and sad like other bottoms would do in most stories. He just tells it like it was a part of his life and he found happiness in that too. Honestly admire that about him.
