I don't want MC becoming a gangster, but from the way the story is progressing there is no way MC will get to put ML in jail or something similar. But, if he goes to the other side he will be losing everything he has fought for and will become the thing he hated most, a criminal. It's so agonizing because I can't see an ending where the MC will have a life that he will be happy with even if he gets with ML because he will cross the one line he didn't want to cross, and he seems very close to a mindbreak already. I want the poor MC free form all of this but the only way to this ending peacefully is someone diying.
