Only the royal couple can unlock that enchantment together to free the object—in short she’d have to actually marry the prince and then hope he’d actually go through with his promise of taking her out of the castle to that location again to retrieve it. She was doubtful that he would ever actually do so or allow her to leave the room, that’s why she had to orchestrate the runaway. Remember, she was chained to a bed until she escaped.
