I actually hope we do get a 2 year time skip before they reunite. Dokyung was in an emotionally abusive relationship for TEN YEARS. IMO jumping right into another relationship - even if it’s a much better one - is the last thing she should do. She needs to spend some time on her own, living only for herself, without having to worry about anyone else’s expectations or opinions.
