My sentiments in exactitude. I was so ecstatic when I saw that we finally had a proper female hunter mc but this was more of a betrayal than the million manhuas showcasing male power fantasy with G-cup females in his harem.
So I was like, at least make it believable. This female hunter is actually an adult, but drawn like an elementary child which is still palatable but acts like the worst human we could ever meet. She is not just lazy, she has no empathy, sense of responsibility or even compassion for the people around her. N considering her father died tragically, one would think that her growth trajectory would work that way. One can tell the author hasnt lost anyone she loved because I've lost ppl. so important to my soul that my past self died & I was never the same. The contemptuous way the female mc dismissed her father' s death was just the nail in the coffin for me. But some readers even went rabid over this scene so idk.
She is also very lower middle class, with a father who had struggled to pay her elementary school fees & the money & grandma is a prominent factor in his death. This is also a struggling Asian household. She is the oldest child. Her father died tragically. I cant understand socially how she turned out to be indulgent with life. Any human irrespective of gender would have had an intense development from this point. Like an origin story u know. The author chose to not give any perspective or character to the female mc hunter.
N I'm not ridiculous enough to ask for a hero narrative. That's for shounen & I get it. But females around the world hold the community. We are the creators of life. Despite the supposed male leadership in society, the world would standstill if females suddenly decided to go strike. N we r that powerful & wonderful. But this author reduces the most powerful hunter in the world as a romance target for the male celestial. Sorry for the spoiler but since we are growing in disappointment anyway

This is the most unlikable mc I ever read. She has the means to save people and yet go on about wanting to live a normal life. A bunch of cliches clumped together, cause what do you mean you don't wanna interact with the guy but ended up staying at his place anyway? Don't get me started with the nonchalant attitude of hers, it doesn't look cool and the execution of her character is bad. I'm cringing every time she comes up the screen. It reeks of self insert to a fantasy world. I tried to steel myself and read it anyways but every scroll I go through my fingers starts convulsing to try and stop me to scroll further. I was looking forward to this since we have an fl and she's op at that so reading this gave me all the mental illness in the book. But either way I'm still gonna read it because of how shit this is.
