It's the reason why I think empathy/reverse thinking as well as any "psychological horror" are down bad unreadable, if you want to write a horror at least don't excuse the half the story being rape and assault at least put effort into the story without it being unreadable and showing gore or horrible abuse every chapter and thinking it's going to scare everyone which the opposite happens it's the reason why I don't dare myself reading killing stalking I just don't want to see gore I just know I won't even read it through chapter 1 without taking an hour long break

This shit is peak in psychological sense. I obliviously started it for romance and got a complex story with an unreliable narrator.
I like that it executes the psychological part well and it's not ONLY rape with a psychological tag as excuse. It's not to romanticise. It's to scare the shit out of you and make you question the characters, their thoughts and view on things and how all these affect their interactions and relationship
