Obviously there’s no chemistry between them, they’re not in love. Taekjoo is a prisoner and only the novel readers know when that relationship will shift for them ;)
I don't mean in a romantic sense. It just seems like Zhenya trumps Taekjoo at all steps. So there's hardly a reason to root for Taekjoo at all.
Tbh it feels like there's hardly any chemistry between Taekjoo amd Zhenya here. Ik a big point here is that they're oh so competent and best each other, but most of the times, Zhenya's 1 billion steps ahead. It never feels as if Zhenya could seriously fail. Taekjoo just keeps being shown as dumb.
Idk, it was kinda disappointing how we don't see Taekjoo get any upper hand at all.
