Unpopular opinion: this might be one of the most contemporary stories I’ve read. The chatbot part felt surprisingly human to me and made Su-Jeong really relatable. Sometimes you just need a space to untangle your thoughts and make sense of what you’re feeling.
Also, it’s refreshing that Su-Jeong isn’t written as the “I can fix him” type. Women aren’t therapists or rehab centers. Everyone has their own trauma, so either Seung-Hyun grows up and takes responsibility, or steps aside so she can actually see Ujun clearly. Can’t wait for Season 2~ must be one hell of a cruise.
