It could be a mix, I don't know whether psychopaths can acquire trauma..but it's definitely something worth looking into
well in some scenes the ml kinda looked sad...like he was smiling like always but felt a bit sad - like when the mc said he didn’t remember anything what happened when he was drunk the last time, the ml kinda looked sad hearing that...idk I just feel like it’s his coping way bcoz I have seen characters like him bfr...
I'm not ruling out the theory that he's probably coping due to something, just questioning whether how much of it is cope. I haven't encountered any characters like him, the only one remotely similar is Brett from An Unsettling Scent, whom I'm 90% sure is on the aspd spectrum. The thing with sunbae here is that, he's displaying some really odd behaviours, to me he seems kinda... emotionless? Well he comes off as an empty person, that's probably why he's toying with the mc sm.
Idk man, these are just assumptions and we can only know in the future when all is revealed. Plus, these speculations is fun. I could be right or embarrassingly wrong, it's part and parcel of the game imho
This guy is probably, definitely, neurodivergent. I think I've been misinterpreting the author's portrayal of his character, I've seen some comments questioning whether some sort of past trauma could be the root cause of his behaviour but these recent chps suggest that it's safe to assume, is just his inherent nature.
Especially that last panel of him staring...hey I'll just say it, I think broski is most likely a high functioning psychopath Arghhh, the theory of trauma and coping mechanisms is still on the table though, lowk not giving up on that. God, it's been a while since I've encountered such an interesting character
