from what ive read of a lot of this style of story in BL, a lot of the time the character is known as someone that doesnt choose love or take the idea of relationships seriously cos they've witnessed or experienced romantic partnerships or love go bad, maybe cos its simpler to break down in 5-6 chapters or maybe cos it's just the trope a lot of these creators like
yes i think the same! i've read more than one story where the character just falls in love with the "right" person, but idk i feel like this one had the potential to be a little bit deeper after being silly maybe bc i really liked the art style hahha
ahhhh, no yeah forsure, i definitely understand the wish for a series with art ive loved to have better story. May you find the story of all your hopes and dreams one of these days
at some point i thought that the seme was under the asexual umbrella? maybe demi or arromantic; that would've been more interesting for me, i guess i understand the trauma and why he didnt expect much of relationships but i genuinely thought he just wasnt capable of falling in love easily like everyone else. the uke is really cute so it's just a fun read !
