they become fuck buddies and the seme doesn’t feel the need to hook up or date others so they stay as that for a while. The uke’s stories start becoming a hit. They become more comfortable with each other and maybe open up to each other. Now this can go 2 ways:

A) Uke starts falling in love with seme and starts having his “delusions” of them being together. It comes out in some way to the seme and seme is gonna be like “no wtf are you on” and then they stop talking for a while. Uke becomes depressed while the seme tries having sex with someone else and doesn’t feel satisfied that it’s not uke and goes back to him. Something health related happens to the uke and now the seme regrets that ever rejecting him and then uke recovers and theyre together.

B) Seme is the one who starts falling in love and wanting more which he finds unfamiliar and unusual as he only wants for sex. Whereas the uke is completely fine with just having sex with seme. He feels satisfied sexually, his novels are going well, and he has more social interaction. Seme is at a lost bc the uke is all he wanted in a partner (something who doesn’t want much other than sex) but he is left feeling unfulfilled. Love rival comes in somehow and the uke realizes that he can’t have seme to himself and tries to let seme go. So he starts treating the uke a lot nicer than he did at the start. Uke opens up to him more and the seme feels so guilty. The uke slowly comes around and they get together.

I don’t mind either story routes, it’s just a matter of if you like more traditional stories (A) or more modern ones (B). I just hope the uke becomes more socially active in all this, I need him to have at least one friend. Sure having a partner is good but in order for him to fully get rid of that low self esteem, it would be better if he gets outside more
