To be fair, love makes even rational people make irrational decisions. Taegun immediately accepting the proposal and saying makes no sense because if you think about it in Jaehas business mindset, Taegun is going to be gaining a lot from him like Yushin and power and respect, so thinking that Taegun might actually be interested in him as a person is at the end of that list.
The entire story, he is searching for a reason to know why Taegun is treating him so nicely when he doesnt have to since he’s already gained most of the benefits, and when the reason presents itself as ‘personal revenge’ when Taegun himself has never explicitly said I love you its understandable for him to misunderstand. (This is also exacerbated by Jaehas one childhood trauma and never seeing any form of love)
And the whole revenge thing on behalf of him, cause he loves Taegun and feels indebted to him for actually marrying Jaeha and having sex even though he doesnt need to (as Jaeha feels like he was forcing Taegun to have sex with him)
Thats what I love about this story and the delicious angst because its two very different people and the perfect misunderstanding between them.

Like it makes sense why hes acting this way but also this misunderstanding arc def needs to wrap up bc its been going on for toooo long need Jaeha to just finally talk to Taegun and let him know how he feels already
I hate stories like this because the conflict only exists if the characters stop acting like rational adults. Imagine proposing to someone, they say yes, and instead of being happy your immediate reaction is “They probably don't love me.” At some point it stops being insecurity and starts feeling ridiculous. Especially when the other person has spent the entire story proving how much they care.
Honestly, I'm starting to question whether Jaeha actually loves Taegun as much as the story wants us to believe. Taegun's desires have never been complicated. He just wants to come home to Jaeha, talk to him, and build a life together. Yet Jaeha can't even give him that. Every time Taegun tries to have a conversation, understand what's wrong, or work through a problem together, Jaeha's response is to hide things, run away, or make decisions on his behalf. If these were teenagers, I'd understand. But this is a grown man who was running a company. How are his communication skills this bad?
And don't even get me started on the revenge plot. Even if Taegun wanted revenge, Jaeha taking it upon himself to carry it out makes no sense. Revenge only means something when it's sought by the person who was actually wronged. Instead, Jaeha constantly treats Taegun like a child who can't make his own decisions. He'll get revenge for him, lie to him, keep secrets from him, disappear without explanation, all under the excuse of "protecting" him.
The most frustrating part is the hypocrisy. Jaeha left Su-Min because he couldn't tolerate being lied to and betrayed, yet he turns around and does the exact same thing to his own husband. Ghosting someone, abandoning them, and making major decisions behind their back isn't somehow better just because your intentions are good.
At this point the story keeps telling me Jaeha loves Taegun, but his actions keep showing the opposite. Make it make sense
