literally shes just a child handling things, obvi shes in the wrong and old enough to take accountability for her actions because she could seriously injure him but it blows my mind that ppl are being so against her wouldnt do the same if it was a guy though

Fr and using "bitch" for a child is just so wrong in any context. Id understand "brat" or "spoiled" but bitch not only is just super harsh it just tells you how they feel about girls in general. Super disgusting imo

Ehhhh~ but... didn't people also cuss at the soccer cousin at first? Behavior wise... I can't say she wasn't being a b... if it was a guy he'd probably be cussed even more... not that it isn't wrong but... I can still understand disliking her. Besides... I don't think she is young enough to not understand that what she's doing is wrong... and personally I hate when people use the person dealing with some difficult situation as an excuse for them to be like that towards someone else. Going through a hard time doesn't give prople a free pass to hurt others. Honestly I can imagine why she's acting like that towards him... but I still don't think it's enough to overlook her behavior. And I guess people feel it's ok since she is just a character... because people can't very well do that in real life even if they meet a demon's spawn in the shape of a kid... even if in their head they'd want to hit them...
Anyway... my opinion of her will change or not based on the next chapters... but id shes around 14yo... sorry... I'll still think she was a fckn lil bich... cuz that's not an age I'd consider child enough for that kind of behavior...

It's so understandable that she did all of that. It's understandable are we serious? Her mum fucking adopted a new child instead of talking to her, loves him and treats him the way she wanted her mother to do so, and she watched her mum do everything she deserved for someone else because her mum was too much of a coward to reach back to her. So no. She doesn't need to be nice to him, or let him call her noona he's a fuckung stranger to her who fucking took her life. And you expect her to be oh so nice about it? She goes to her mum's home and finds that is like a stranger's house. She doesn't deserve that. And everything is understandable. 14 years old, you are a child, you are going through some of the biggest stages of puberty in your life so yes she is a child she does need to take accountability for pushing and saying that, but it's all understandable and she didn't even do it that hard? You are just calling her a bitch for no reason, she's upset and she deserves to be.

I'd agree with that... if this was just after he's been adopted... but it's been years... and no shadow of her or her father appearing. It's not like his existence was a secret... everyone knew about it... by the mom's actions she was the one that wanted no contact... and think of it the other way... a rude and aggressive girl just barged into his house being all hotile even when he's trying to be friendly. And nah. At 14 no matter what you know dang well not to hit a kid that much younger than yourself. She has the right to be btchy about the situation and readers that like mc more than her have the right to point out she was being a b about it... having a reason or not doesn't change how you describe a behavior...
But anyway... we all know mc will help fix things and they'll end up getting along in the end... no matter what we think of her now...

she was rude not a bitch, and no matter how long has passed by its valid whatsoever also stop trying to say look in mc's perspective that a rude and aggressive girl er yes the rude and aggressive girl is his moms biological daughter, and no having a reason doesnt change the behaviour but what you can change is how you describe her in a fucking misogynistic way? a bitch is misogynistic, and the fact the readers r calling her that just proves their misogynistic tendencied. shes rude for that not being a bitch? like the point of the comment was saying how calling her a bitch was misogynistic bro...

Obviously it's wrong of her to push him but calling her a bitch is just so vile. 14 is still a child and calling a child a bitch is still wrong no matter how you try to justify it. There's so many more words you can use and you immediately go for the one that means female dog (specifically in heat in the original definition) at that point it's not an insult it's degrading a child because the mc, who we know is understanding and empathetic towards children who lash out, got pushed. Also SHE LOST HER ORIGINAL LITTLE BROTHER OBVIOUSLY SHES HAVING A HARD TIME ADJUSTING!

Nah... that's you guys changing the context of the cuss word. Most cuss word are either misogynistic, homophobic or racist... and it's obvious that the cussing is not directed to the original meaning of cussing a woman as a b in the sense of likening them to the female dog that copulates with many different male dogs when in heat. More than a slur for a promiscuous woman, bish is used in many different contexts... including this character behavior.
If the issue was cussing her with the intent of diminishing her as a woman or insulting her as promiscuous even tho she's that young I'd be 100% agreeing with both of you. But you are both intelligent enough to know that it's not the case and her behavior can be considered bitchy. If it was a male character it could be considered bitchy behavior the same way. Would you feel better if she was called an ahole instead? Maybe a lil fckr? Is the problem the cuss word or she being the cussed one? Cuz again... his cousin was cussed too at first... and if it was an adult character... the cussing in the comments would be a lot heavier... including alleging it was assault and that they should go to jail etc... so I still think calling her a bitch is just complaining about the behavior... and quite frankly it's a cuss that's been used for all ages and genders.
I get you're unhappy that she was cussed for whatever reason you guys have... and again... that's not much appropriate to irl... but it's just a character that ain't gonna feel hurt about it. So I don't see why be so uptight about it...

--->Girls don't get called a bitch for only in promiscuous situations or being diminished situations, its in every situation that a woman gets called a bitch genuinely, getting in the way of someone, 'bitch', being annoying 'bitch', etc. etc. I don't see guys getting called a bitch for the shit he does most of the time, and even if he is called one its only because he is acting like a 'woman' for being insecure, acting out, and jealous and also mainly by women(internalises misogyny) not men, they mainly only ever call women bitches. Like misogyny is such a normalised thing in our society which is why the OG comment was even speaking about how the comments were calling her a bitch because she is a girl, its not that they are complaining about her, because she was being unreasonably 100%. But every single situation where a woman was in the way of a man or even a woman, she has been called a bitch because misogyny is embedded so deeply into our society that people just do so, and don't think it's a problem. That's the patriarchy for you.

"Would you feel better if she was called an ahole instead? Maybe a lil fckr? Is the problem the cuss word or she being the cussed one?"
---> Absolute, don't call her a bitch. The point is that they call her a bitch, it would be better than the comments knowing the misogynistic undertone in the comment, and proceeding to call her that. Like???

"Cuz again... his cousin was cussed too at first... and if it was an adult character... the cussing in the comments would be a lot heavier... including alleging it was assault and that they should go to jail etc..."
---> Yes I also know his cousin was cussed, but his situation is a bit different, way younger than her also I don't really remember he pushed him or something right? Not right of him but he's also a child and I can't remember what they cussed of him or something, but he was also struggling and absolutely valid to call out the Mangago commenting community for being pieces of shit and overreacted about a child acting like a child. Also the adult character part yes the comments would be heavier because the adult developed a full thinking brain and is not a child lol.

"so I still think calling her a bitch is just complaining about the behavior... and quite frankly it's a cuss that's been used for all ages and genders."
---> This comment has been used as a cuss word for mainly women, like worldwide it's mainly used for women, I literally mainly see it used for women. I see women use it sometimes but for men who act the way 'women act' I brought it up there.

"I get you're unhappy that she was cussed for whatever reason you guys have... "
---> Yes for the misogynistic undertones of the comments?

"and again... that's not much appropriate to irl... but it's just a character that ain't gonna feel hurt about it. So I don't see why be so uptight about it... "
---> I hope you remain the same thought for when people act racist, sexist, homophobic, etc... towards characters and say that 'it's just a character that ain't gonna feel hurt about it' then... lol

Like literally just don't use bitch. Not that hard. Also did y'all forget that a main theme in this story is that children are heavily influenced by their parents and act out harshly because of that? Like we literally just met this girl chill out. By now if YOU can't understand that there's always going to be circumstances around a CHILD (because 14 IS still a child) who's adjusting to their mother adopting a child after losing one would be difficult for anyone. Why they haven't visited till now? I don't know that's what THE STORY IS FOR. I assume because they were GRIEVING. This issue isn't that we're excusing her pushing him (we aren't) the issue is that your first reaction to a girl's emotional outburst is to immediately call them degrading words that are used very specifically for women. The fact you DON'T see the problem with that is a red as fuck flag and I can only imagine how you are to the actual girls in your life
