Genuinely, I truly don't understand how you can perceive him to be a child, because his crying. His a man that is on the verge of losing his love and willing to give up his entire family fortune and position, just because a man or anyone shows emotions, doesn't mean they're weak, in fact it means they're strong to understand what they feeling. I don't think his weak, I feel like he is eventually understanding what it means to truly love another person and devote himself wholeheartedly to her even if she never accepts it. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Never said he is a manchild because he cried. He has been acting like a manchild since day 1. From bullying her, to using his position to impose his feelings on to her. He did all that without even thinking of the blacklash of their relationship esp on her. This man gained sentience and realized he gotta confront his family when she left. There is nothing romantic about hostile in-laws for a woman, and that's why she left. Oh, he wants to throw everything away for her? How touching. But as of now, she doesn't want to throw away her career. He is sad bohoo, but his brain needed outside source to compute why she left. If this man was 20-24 i would be more understanding like man is also finding himself, what he values more in life etc. But 34 is crazy man. I said what i said.
If the author wanted to create this KIND of flawed male lead, i mean ok? If i dislike him, it means he isn't a cardboard type of character and it's good. But his attitude has been a real turn off for the most part.

I genuinely don't understand how people can stand the ML who is a man child. I would have left like her.
And he is 34 btw.
