What’s up with authors giving up mid way????(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Do you know how hard writing is?
That shit drains you of energy so fast and if you start stressing too much, boom, writer's block. Can't get a single word down on the page. It's easier for some than others but not everyone can sustain the level of creative output & novelty a story demands.
I write in my free time and have so many wips and incomplete works it's genuinely insane. I always give writers their flowers because this shit is not easy at all. Hope you'll be able to empathize with their struggles and try your hand at writing once too to understand how demanding this career really is.
