The art style remains same. Except for a change into his outfit design later on. So, there are 2 versions mixed in, before he upgrade his mask. TBH, I'm not so fond with the art style at 1st, but I got used to it.
Story wise, it's so much worth it.
* Especially worth it halfway through. It gets more interesting....
