This seemed like your usual dramatic kidnapping-obsession-stockholm syndrome plot, but it’s actually focused on the trauma healing mechanisms instead. As someone who has been in therapy for years it’s so interesting to me to see this angle. Even though one might find the plot not dramatic enough or even boring, I love it. I’m also glad that the bad guys are being dealt with properly. But how does the MC know about this kind of desensitisation technique / reverse psychology though?? Afaik he’s not a psychology student?? (Well he also able to unlock that many padlocks that fast with just a bobby pin and outwit a gang as a kid, so I guess I’ll just accept that he has many secret skills for survival lmao)
