Anws, I don't quite understand when MC said.. he went behind kagiwara's back? Didn't he like touko first? Didn't she choose him to be his boyfriend? I'm not so sure what happened. But since there's so much guilt that MC feels.. I lean to believe that Kagiwara was vocal about his feelings for touko..even before MC and Touko got together. while MC is passive abt his feelings? Feeling threatened, maybe MC courted Touko first? So maybe Kagiwara was surprised by that. And that's what the betrayal that MC talks about? it wasnt clear.
Still pretty weird for kagiwara pursuing touko relentlessly tho... I also don't understand this plot point that since kagiwara disappeared, touko chose MC? Didn't she already chose him right from the start by becoming his girlfriend?
Edit: just finished it. So right from the start Touko was inlove with MC. It's kinda sad that it gotten to a point where MC doubted his wife's feelings cause he is insecure and is guilty about something he shouldn't have like feeling he betrayed his friend (Kagiwara knows Touko's always been in love with MC).
Despite being weird for still pursuing a girl who was clear about her feelings, I kind of understand Kagiwara and why he chose to ghost them. He is a coward. And that's fine.
