I really do think that Naomi actually had feelings for Grayson. That's what I felt while reading the novel.
He crushed her ego, that's it.. Grayson didn't promise her anything yet she clung to him, not until Grayson got tired of her.. She also used Grayson and Keith to climb up to success so i also don't know other than her ruined ego why she's so bitter about Grayson..
He messed with her ego. Naomi thought of herself as an extremely seductive woman, to the point that no alpha could resist her charms. She was friends with benefits with Keith, then became friends with benefits with Grayson, and she really enjoyed his company. She had no interest in being his girlfriend or having any relationship with Chase, but she wanted to test Grayson because she thought she would make him jealous by asking about sleeping with Chase (once again, her ego kicking in). But the answer deeply irritated her, because Grayson basically replied that she wasn't marriage material... in a way, he was following his own logic, after all, he thinks that only those destined for marriage are meant to be married, and Chase would never get involved with someone just for pleasure, but in Naomi's mind, this was a monumental offense; it was as if she only served as a sex object. So now she pretends to be Grayson's friend to see his downfall up close when things go wrong for him.
Damn ok thank you for the explanation! I think this is the type of stuff that doesn't translate well from the novel to the manwha (or maybe will get more explained with time), but ye that makes sense
Can someone mf explain why Naomi got pissed at Grayson for not wanting to marry her? Didn't she literally say she didn't want a relationship only a friend (presumably a friends with benefits)? Maybe it was like his wording which was pretty shitty I agree but how are you gonna hold a grudge that long for that am I missing something or
