In Mexico, we have an expression for when someone is taking too long or overthinking something. in english, there is an expression for that? because I just can’t say: neta, como la hacen de emoción, ya me tiene bien cansada estos morros

    I find that English truly has no phrases to describe complex things/emotions whenever I read or consume media from other languages. Many languages have phrases that describe complex/serious things in almost a sarcastic way but English in comparison comes off stoic.

    The closest equivalent in English would be likely, they are dragging their feet or they are trying to delay the inevitable.
