Totally agree, and the fact the the uke got disowned by his own family when he came out just adds more to why he is thinking that way, he knows how painful it is to live in a life where even the very person you thought would accept you push you out the moment they know the real you. And given the the settings is on Japan it was much more harder. The uke differently reminds me of "The Cure" by Olivia he had this anxiety and turmoil that he's feeling because of his past experience and that lead him to think that letting the person he love go for the "better future" is the cure

I understand why some of y'all hated the fact that uke lied and somehow ditched the seme but I hope you understand that before the accident happened, uke is already in turmoil that seme might like Kids and compared to him who's gay, seme is prolly bi so he can still like a girl and have his own fam. I actually love the idea that seme fall in love again the second time with him tho it felt somehow rush. I hope the story is longer bcs I really love the plot and the angst surrounding it.
