First of all, I don't think Shuraka was rough—at least not from my perspective, especially since I've seen what rough sex actually looks like. Second, regarding Shuraka's blood, it turned gold because he refused to sleep with anyone. As the emperor, he was expected to have children to continue Natam's bloodline. Since he abstained from having sex, his blood gradually turned gold, which is poisonous and can eventually kill him. (Please correct me if I got any of that wrong.)
Shuraka's blood, the longer he goes without sex essentially at a certain age(and he refused to have sex with anyone but Tei), becomes a poison for him and anyone else, it also becomes golden the more potient it gets because he has his lands magic/gods essence thats also why he has the gold diamond shape on his forehead its called the eye of something i cant remember the name but im pretty sure its his lands god. Its also the reason he cannot leave his land for long periods bc his magic begans to leak when into what ever land he is in and will affect the ecosystem unnaturally.
Shuraka needs to release his "seed" regularly because that's one of a MUST of a Padisha, it's on their blood to procreate. And because Shuraka wasn't able to "release" for a loooong time, his blood turns gold (poisonous) until he become one with nature (die) unless he do the deed and "release".
P. S. It hurts like hell because it seems like his blood is turning "solid" (not sure if it's the right term) as it drags on. Hence, he smoke weeds everytime before they met again.

i liked the sex, just..wished shuraka wasnt so rough with him, but oh well they love each other and they are both freaks for each other, so thats what it is. And can somebody explain to me about what poison Tei is talking about? Because i havent read the manga from the beggining, just the recent chapthers only.
