Really? I've been curious since the mc is an unreliable story teller since she believes that she's inside the body of a villainess while the people who used to be around the previous owner of the body claimed she was sweet and frail. And when she was reading her mother's diary she pretty much skimmed it and made an assumption based on a page she read previously. If possible can you give me a spoiler about the father's character?
Memories are a bit fuzzy, since it’s been a while: but he rly did abandon amanranth (FL mother) after they married. Pretty sure they were in love at the beginning ? At the very least Amanranth did love him. But then after they married it was clear he was a money hungry bastard but FL grandfather (on mom side) had already cut contact with amaranth by then so there was no more money. (there’s surely more but I forgot everything sorry )
I might be mixing up spoilers so not sure but i think her maternal grandpa used to send money to her father cuz of her sickness when og evangeline was alive. (Im not sure about this spoiler. It could be false if my memory got mixed with another manhwa )
Strange since from the flashback he actually doted on his daughter and she was loved by the staff which is part of why everyone struggled with a new entity inside her body
