Real, people are tripping so much, she's a teen with a crush who went through a lot of bullshit and came to rely on MC, it's a harmless crush that serves to create a heartbreaking but exciting plot point, all them bitches have no media literacy; the MC don't even show interest in her, he just feels hella guilty over the things he has to do for the progression of the story, and it makes for good character analysis, jeez
