How is the end??

im pretty sure the cake guy ends up dying and the fork islike injured and in the hospital

Not exactly it ends with Fork smelling cake during a rainstorm, leaving it open to a possibility that Cake is infact alive

Honestly speaking I kinda like how it didn't have a distinct end. With how the story was told that was a nice way to wrap it up but leave room for mystery. I plan to read the novel but it was a sweet ending to me.

It very much drew parallels to Killing Stalking but had a happy note ending on how ambiguous it was after the angst build up.
