Exactly! I admit I enjoy (some) hurt/comfort stories, including those with SA in the past of a mc, as there are some that are actually really good at dealing with the aftermath/trauma in a realistic way and show how the main character heals thanks to the love (romantic or familial or simply friends) that surrounds them. So these BL authors COULD insert rape to portray how a victim can move on from it and become happy together with their lover, as a way to raise awareness about such themes as well, but 95% of the times it's clearly just there as a kink that the victim just gets over like its nothing. The worst ones are obviously those where the rapist is the male lead himself cause WHAT THE FUCK
Because there is a demand for this. There are consumers who like those themes that I don’t understand why.
Like can the creators not make anything that doesn't have any rape in it, like can't you develop as human beings? I feel like this is like really showing us what the craters are like in real life and what they fantasize about. Like BWAT Most of their manwas are rated high and it's not rape it's usually consentand. Why can't any other creator Just make a yoai or BL everything based on actual love it's not BL if the person is getting with his rapist isn't that like a mental problem??.
