Despite being the literal protagonist of a manga with egoism as its motif AND an ego to actually back it up on the field, isagi is a really down to earth guy with the least amount of pride and arrogance concerning his interpersonal relationships. His desire to grow stronger doesn't come at the expense of others, he doesn't truly like that. But that doesn't necessarily mean he won't take advantage of the opportunities presented to him. This chp reflects that in its entirety, my king doesn't shy away from talking to Rin and building up rapport along with devising another winning strategy even after he's been benched. He's so painfully human and realistic, he's the epitome of your "average" joe.The fact that he acts exactly how he's marketed is why I kin him.
