some of you kinda miss the whole point of the manhwa tho... all seongwoo wanted was playing music with his beloved ones and its just that. no ulterior motives, no favors asked. just that pure reason. that is why seongwoo's death haunted every chapters' narrative.
the story is telling us that the entertainment industry is constantly facing the things that posed as challenges to that. the whole point is to fight against those rotten things and protect such a simple, normal reason/dream.
we see corruption: higher-ups keep changing the rules or shit like that
we see the antifan/cyberbullying situation: threats and hate comments to suin even though they dont know any shit about him and his brother
we see the plagiarism: baek dohyeong's greed and fear that he cannot make something good anymore
we see the meaningless criticism that make everyone feel bad about their own music and they became washed out: that judge wicom acting condescending and telling people's music is trash and not worth listening to
this is not like a friendly competition or a coming of age sport anime setting, this is as dark as a manhwa could be. this is a freaking politic game. so if youre thinking this is shallow and made for kid, im sorry but you need to learn more about the harshness of life. maybe only then you'll realize the essence of living is doing something that you want/you love, and not being oppressed by those cruel, unjust factions. just like seongwoo's wish is to play music with his little brother.
