I think this is a lovely ending. It leaves it open without the story getting too convoluted, which I think happens a lot in murim manhwa. His story was told, maybe we’ll see his children, or someone else in the future deal with the cockroach. Sad it ended at the same time though, never seen a manhwa with the mc being the alliance leader so it was kinda fresh instead of the common sect leader or heavenly demon and such.
So many things unresolved, for instance that undying cockroach villain is still not dead, that higher realm we saw, with his ancestor saving him from that ancestor of the cult, hell we don't even get to see him go on one date with the FL.
Will there be side stories?
That aside, I loved it...loved the art and fight scenes, there's so many panels I took screenshots of.
