All korean authors and artists are guilty in one way or another of using racial stereotypes be in the colours they decided to use to paint the skin (from grey to orange), facial and body cliché representation (especially nose and mouth and the women are very curvy if they are latina), if they have tattoos they are the antagonists, the mobs, the rapists most of the time and they are mixed raced too or they are drawn 'ugly', not conventionally attractive for the story, because if they are not important, they are not detailed in their features (minor characters) or they don't have faces in comparison with other minor light skinned characters.
But, yeah, not many actually pay attention to representation of any kind.
