For me I view Shin like he is a recovering addict...he's often trying to change or pushing his feelings for Jake away: trying to be a "better" person per se. But then he falls right back once he sees Jake
Either way these two are addicted to one another lol
Jake gives zero fucks about who sees him at this point. He's loudly claiming his man like the prize he is!
This whole Manhwa is about drug addiction; Jake and Ross are two types of addicts.
Ross is a spiraling addict that is constantly chasing his fix and is never satisfied due to never having the original high (Shin being his best high yet) and you see in his mannerisms how he's not functioning correctly, is high strung, and becoming increasingly dangerous.
While Jake is a high functioning addict; from the outside you wouldn't be able to see much of issue. Think old Hollywood actors that snort just enough coke or pops pills to stay alert.
He's well behaved and quick on his feet but you notice the moment he can be near Shin, he's immediately touching him, kissing and or licking his skin...he's getting his fix.
Caesar is correct that Jake is different...he is obsessed with Shin...
For all my Twilight fans, remember what Edward said to Bella " You're like my own brand of heroin" that is exactly what Shin is for Jake.
