One of the main reasons why I love CBAW so much is because Taesung and Haebom's love persevered despite the odds against them. The way they protected each other and always thought about each other first, it was them vs the world. I do love that their story was very wholesome and sweet, but I also love the angst and the struggle. I don't like to see my babies in pain, but I like seeing their love stay strong through it all and continue despite everything that is happening. Of course the situation is a lot more different from them being students since they're adults now, but I just love that through all of it, they still have their love and amazing friends who care and cherish them, too. I'm sure the author could have never revisited CBAW and left it at their bakery ending. I would have loved more side stories and more chapters of their domestic life together, but I love seeing more of Taesung and Haebom's story together, even if it's sad with more adult themes.
