FFXIV is the best one i cd find, free trial is limited in terms of social interactions but otherwise its mostly free (be careful if u ever pay ull have to pay every month on that account u can never go back to free trial one with it)
mabinogi is also a good alternative its fully free but its like 20 years old i ended up dropping it as a noob cuz its full of vets
currently ive been waiting for mabinogi mobile release for like a year tho its already expanding towards asia and theyre gonna release is later on globally too its like mabinogi but revamped so its gonna be much better gameplay and graphics wise plus playable on different platforms
so far from what ive observed most of these stories like gmnd, n00b waifu, raise a healer, netkama punch, etc. theyre most likely based on mabinogi (and im speculating this purely based on the character startup screens theyre showing lmao)

Tysm this is so helpful, i just downloaded mabinogi yesterday so I’ll definitely give it a try. I wanted to try FFXIV but i felt like I’d give in to the paid side then be stuck paying monthly(not quite in the budget) but thank you!
