Its more like shes cosplaying as a poor person is how i see it. And yes, its a form of self harming for her. Brcause shes viewing her priviliege as the only good thing she had and now that she took that away she had to come up with a new persona to punish herself
She’s not cosplaying when she’s living it. Technically the money doesn’t belong to her, so leaving home and making a living on her own isn’t her pretending to be someone she’s not. But yeah, not getting everything handed to her is something she’s using as a “punishment” but I’d also say it’s just her way of humbling herself.
Other than getting trauma so hard she got a split personality, I don’t think it is realistic that she can go that low. By the comic logic i think its a form of self harm to Her. Going from that kind of wealth since birth to underline poverty is insanely different while being underage too. First of all she wouldn’t even know how to survive based on her past self that portray her as an extremely spoiled princess. She doesn’t care when people get bullied and like almost samsung kinda rich, and then in a few month she think a second hand nike tshirt is fancy, “this is good enough” would make more sense . They should have made her came from a well off family if they want to keep the secretly rich lore but making her poor to begin with would match better. Like especially rich kids with diamond spoons, you have to really romanticize chaebol to get this image haha.. I like the current her tho, while the plot just doesn’t work well for me i enjoy the cute romance and school life
