Apparently the people that can have an opinion are POC and those that don't read gruesome rape yaoi, I fit into both descriptions.
This is bullshit.
This is the second time a Korean author has decided to this shit, why are they so eager to do this to other cultures and races, when Koreans react like you stepped on their tail when it comes to their history with the Japanese?
There's so many ways this could have been done, it could have been an alternative world, a fantasy world, or both love interests could have been the same race, like two white cowboys that would hot yaoi, or the slave after being free goes to reconnect with his roots finds love, or with another different kind POC from back then ( black, asian whatever), or if it had to be white maybe they could have made him ....I don't know not a fucking slave owner, after all not all white men were slave owners back then, it could have been just a regular factory worker so many fucking options but it had to be slave - master based on real life events? Horrific real life events?
