this manhwa was a safe & fluffy bl for 4 seasons, then it took a drastic turn at season 5. i deeply understand the disappointment’s that most readers have for s5.
the whole toxic plot is unthinkable. s5 could have been perfect if the plot stays fluff (and even more fluff.) s5 got all it need: the anticipation from readers, and the perfect build-up for even more fluffy story from s1-s4. [all the necessary dramas r already wrapped & they can focus on our couple’s bakery arc]
istg toxic bl authors need to take a look at ‘The Sacred Serpent’s Seduction’ or ‘Our Sunny Days’ manhwa. both of them are some of the biggest proof that readers CRAVES a lovey-dovey bl. A good BL manhwa doesn’t always need a complicated story. Complicated story doesn’t need to include a stressful drama plot. smh.
