There are stories out there ended happily with a few things unsolved or unmentioned again after mentioning it somewhere in the story. So what made the author worried about people going to be confused or wonder about what would happen with the grandpa?? I know he was mentioned early in the story and they never mentioned him again for 4 seasons. Not even 2 out of 10 mentioned about it so why they have to tell us “oh this is what will happen when the grandpa fully appears in the story”
