because why would it be? it's not explicitly stated, and therefore its safe to assume that its not based off of a real rape victim,, you need evidence to prove that its based on real victims, not the other way around. Those plots are merely coincidences, every single fiction story happened to someone irl, (if its not some crazy shit like fairies and fantasy) doesn't mean that story was intentionally based off of them, if you encounter a story based off of a real rape victim and it's romanticized then you shouldn't read it because that actually isnt fiction, and is harmful to the victim.

The trauma of slavery and sexual assault and the likes exists in the real world whether an author names a specific victim or not. My point stands: it is a fictional story utilizing dark tropes. If readers cannot handle dark, uncomfortable, or historically insensitive themes in fiction, they should curate their own reading lists instead of policing what everyone else is allowed to read.

The Civil War happened, but this manhwa is a fictional story using a historical trope. History is real; this manhwa is fiction. It’s not a difficult concept. Authors use real-world history to build fictional worlds all the time. If you think reading a fictional story about a trope means someone is denying real history, you are completely out of touch with how fiction works.
