im against censorship and I believe there is a line between fiction and reality as well but you can’t tell people “don’t like, don’t read” in a situation where it is a story about their own history or culture. Korea has its own set of past scars and are very sensitive when it comes to its history, so I can empathize with the anger and discomfort this type of story can trigger. As an artist and author, you have a responsibility of approaching these topics carefully considering its political aspect and bc the effects of those events are still prevalent to this day. ofc while we only saw one chapter of Jaxx’s work, jaxx themself admitted the story had limitations due to its premise and lacked care and nuance. I promise you will be fine without this one yaoi, im sure jaxx will come around again with better stories. Also im tired of ppl acting like everyone was bullying and sending jaxx death threats bc most people were giving valid criticism. Most of the death threats/bullying I’ve seen are from all the comments fighting eachother, not directed at the creator

This world is crazy. The authors are bullied because of their fiction. It s not documentary , the person had the right to make a story the way they wanted. If you don't like it don't read it.
I now remember the masterpiece novel "Under the oak tree", the webtoon is popular here now, but if I m not mistaken the author stopped writing the novel halfway because of the shitty people who criticized the characters and the author.
Because of you, dumbasses, we have less and less good unique stories. Instead there are plenty stupid shallow things.
I also wished the authors were stronger and bravier .. But I understand that talented people are usually sensitive , so can't blame them ..
