We don’t find out exactly who it was that saw them, but my suspicion is all in the other red hair (i think) servant the one who had given the colored ink to Paula, if u want to know why it’s gonna be spoilers about the ending of the main story

After a second murderer occurs (other stuff happens in between) Paula tells alicia that she needs to go away from there before she gets killed too but while they’re talking the red hair servant appears and with him also the brother of Ethan, James who everyone thought dead but Ethan actually couldn’t kill him and decided to give him another chance but obviously James didn’t use it. So the red hair worked for James, and the red hair had to find out who was the woman that Vincent was looking for and to kill her. So now they find out that it was Paula cause in between the ex fiancée of Vincent came back and she immediately recognized Paula so that’s when everyone found out too. So they run away but Alicia is a full ass bitch and pushes Paula into a cliff (Alicia says “if I can’t have it then no one can” or some shit like that) then when she opens her eyes after falling there’s Vincent holding her trying to comfort her and himself cause he’s scared asf after finding Paula down the cliff all hurt, but James appears and Vincent didn’t notice him but Paula did so James shoots Paula’s shoulder and Vincent notices him, he has a gun too, and he shoots james. Now we skip to Paula who wakes up after all of that she’s in a room where Ethan is there, they talk and then she finds out Vincent was going to see her only during night when she was asleep so she decided to stay awake and catch him in the act (cause Vincent never went to her during the day) so she caught him, they talked and stay together. End of main story, then the side stories follow Paula while they put in act their plan to get her to a status so that she can publicly marry Vincent (if u want to know about side stories too lmk)
