In the novel afterwards chapters Penelope is doing an archeological dig and is attacked when she is suddenly saved by someone ... it was Eckles who had lost his memories after fighting the dragon. Despite his loss of memories he feels a connection to Penelope that he doesn't understand. So he asks her what was their relationship like before his memory loss, Penelope lies and tells him that he hated her. He accepted her answer and then disappeared never to cross paths with her again.
Did I skip a chapter or i probably forgot. What happen to the black hair dude that was fighting Callisto? Or was callisto fighting the dragon during that time? I think I'm having memory lost ╥﹏╥
