Valle doesnt love Lorena in my opinion.

Yeah, it's more of an obsession than love. At first he indeed fell in love, but later it just spiraled, she died and pure obsession was born because she slipped out of his hands. He loved her when she was his, but when she left only obsession remained.
It's sad honestly, when they had a future he just pushed her into hell because of his stupid pride. He regrets it and even 'tried' to repent but it was only to satisfy himself and win her back. In this equation he never thought about her. All he ever cares about is himself (￣∇￣")
