Exactly my thoughts ughh I could barely go through these chapters without actually getting irritated I genuinely just don’t understand why second mls exist if they don’t get a LICK of a chance with the mc. Reading the last chapter took me like 3 seconds. I knew what was going to happen and I just didn’t really want to see it because the previous chapters already irked me… I honestly still wish Woori was end game but as always he wasn’t. I’ve seen many second mls and I knew from the start they wouldn’t be with the mc and I was fine with that but with this one for some reason i just get soo irked . I really really like the art style but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to read the rest… ( ̄へ ̄)

Man I really am so tired of these pointless second male leads. You can’t even call them male leads because they never even have a chance in hell of getting with the MC! Danwoo should’ve gotten with Woori. He genuinely cared about him as both a friend and a love interest (let’s not even get into him getting touchy feely with Danwoo cuz that was unnecessary from them jump). Taehan is an emotionally unavailable jerk who, instead of taking his ass to therapy, wanted to make his problems everyone else’s problems. I really am struggling to see what Danwoo saw in him aside from a pretty face.
But all that being said, if Woori never even had a chance then I wish he was just a friend. Yall ever notice in a lot of BLs how the MC just never has any friends? Their circle is just the love interest. Again, Woori actually cared about Danwoo as a person so it would’ve been refreshing to see him just be a great friend to Danwoo. And honestly, it seems like the author is gonna set Woori up with Taehan’s ex. So again, having him as the second male lead was pointless. It doesn’t even add tension because we knew Danwoo wasn’t gonna return his feelings. Woori could’ve just been Danwoo’s good friend and had his own side plot of falling in love with someone else.
Either way, I’m dissatisfied. Be it end game or be it a great friend, Woori deserved better. And so does Danwoo!
